Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This 8-hour training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.

Youth Mental Health First Aid

1 in 5 youth ages 13 to 18 lives with a mental health condition. That means in a class of 25, five students are impacted. That’s why it’s so important for all adults working with adolescents to take Youth Mental Health First Aid, an 8-hour course that teaches participants how to help adolescents experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.

Having a more informed staff can dramatically help early intervention efforts and get youth the help they need when they need it.
